Memorial Day Marathon Discount
Summertime – for some folks, it is a time filled with lazy days spent lounging around while reading a book. But where will these lucky individuals find just the right book to fuel their reading throughout the coming months? Where else but YOU?
In recognition of the fact that unlocking the potential of a book’s sales is more about a marathon than a sprint, the Memorial Day Marathon Discount is tailor-made for those authors who want to invest in the long haul and stock up for their future orders and events. Authors who place an order for 500+ copies will have their Author Purchase Price (APP) discount adjusted to 75% instead of the standard 50% APP. Recognizing that the economic conditions will not allow all authors to participate, an alternate Marathon Discount of 60% calculated for the APP is also available. The Marathon Discount is available for orders placed between May 1 and June 15.
To place your Marathon order, send an email to bookorder@aeg-online-store.com with a subject of ‘Memorial Day Marathon’ and the details of your order. Within 1-3 business days you will receive an invoice for your order with the promotional Author Price applied.
As with any offer, there are some restrictions and limitations Marathon Discount runs from May 1, 2009- June 15, 2009. Order requests must be received by midnight on June 15, and invoices must be paid within one week to secure the discount. The 250+ or 500+ copies must be of a single cover-type (hardcover or paperback), not a mixture of the two (such as 125 paperback/125 hardcover). 75% / 60% discount is calculated in the same manner as the 50% Author Purchase Price. E-books are not eligible for the promotion Does not apply to any books where authors are already purchasing copies at a rate discounted beyond standard contract terms, or any situation where the cost of the book would be lower then the print cost + $1.00. All copies in the order must be shipped to a single address Author sales only are eligible, no wholesale or bookstore/retail sales Discounts may not be combined with the Memorial Day Circuit Tour prize discounts
